Fees for Prize Promotions and Due Diligence Investigations, and Lifting of Moratorium on Gaming

The Public is hereby advised that Fees will be introduced by the Commission, effective February 1, 2012
as follows:
Prize Promotions:
Consistent with Section 58 A (b) of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries (Amendment) Act, 2010 the
Commission has established a scale of fees for the processing, approval, monitoring and control of prize
promotions, the schedule of fees is as
The schedule is as follows:

Application, Processing, Approval, Monitoring Less than or equal to $500,000.00 $ 20,000.00
Greater than $500,000.00 and less
than or equal to $1,000,000.00
$ 50,000.00
Greater than $1,000,000.00 $100,000.00
In addition to the above fees, the following fees will
apply:
Incomplete Application $ 15,000.00
Late Application ie. Less than 21 days before proposed
launch
$ 15,000.00
Extension of expiry date of promotion $ 15,000.00
*Nominal Prizes are the theoretical value of prizes as some prizes might not have been won or claimed during the promotion
period.
